Congratulations to Dr. Vladimir Rodríguez, full time professor of the Department of Statistics at ITAM, in his appointment as associate editor for the Latin American Economic Review (LAER) magazine. 

LAER is the journal leader in Latin America on Economics in general and, currently, it’s positioned in the top quartile of economics, econometry and finance at SCImago.

Dr. Vladimir Caballero received the Francisco Aranda Ordaz award for his thesis, also, in 2016 he received a research award given by the Econometrics Association of Italy. Currently he is part of the National Researchers System.
